The cylindrical M12 ATEX micro switches are used in potential explosive atmospheres zone 1/2, wherever the switching status must be recorded accurately without using an additional intrinsically safe amplifier. Because of the gold plated contacts, the M12 ATEX micro switches can also directly connected to intrinsically safe circuits.
