During filling or decanting processes involving solid or liquid materials in the Ex area, the Terracompact IITCO030 automatically identifies faulty or defective ground links in the installation. If the floating changeover contact is switched accordingly, it shuts off the process.

Description

This atex device is provided for connecting to a ground clamp or a rewinding cable reel with ground clamp.

The Terracompact II is a standard housing for assembly on a DIN 46277 top-hat rail for installation in a control cabinet or a control room.

The Terracompact II TCO030 must be mounted outside the hazardous area. Only the intrinsically safe circuit is allowed to lead into the hazardous area. The unit is preferably installed in the switchgear cabinet of a dry control room.
