Ex-proof LED-Steep Roof Light Fittings Series e821

The ATEX steep roof light fitting series e821 features a robust, extremely flat sheet-steel housing without external clips or latches, combined with frameless flat tempered safety glass and an internal central locking system. Its internal design is equally impressive. The innovative encapsulated LED modules protect the LEDs against mechanical and electrostatic damage and, in combination with frosted LED covers, provide homogeneous illumination with excellent glare limitation.

Description

In addition, optional mounting frames and swivel-arm mounting accessories ensure maximum installation flexibility.

Powder-coated sheet steel housing, frameless hinged tempered safety glass pane. Central locking system (operated by a 5mm allen key) with opposite internal hinges, silicone gasket.

Sheet steel reflector, white powder coated, hingeable and detachable, with encapsulated LED modules and frosted covers for glare limitation.

Encapsulated ECG with overvoltage, overload and short circuit protection.

Looping the cable on one side:
All light fittings of series e821… have 2 cable entries on one small side of the housing for cable looping instead of the through wiring system. (3-pole looping standard, 5-pole looping at additional cost)

Applications:
Hazardous areas of Zones 1 (gas) and 21 (dust), e.g. cleanrooms, paint shops and spray booths.
