Particularly robust, ATEX electric convectors can reach very high temperatures and are therefore suitable for heating very large areas and enclosures.
They can be found in industrial company premises such as chemical and thermal industries. They are also used in the marine and nuclear industries, where the atmosphere is considered explosive.
Practical and easy to use, ATEX convectors heat spaces efficiently and without “parasitic” noise, at temperatures ranging from -20°C to +40°C.
Installation – ATEX Convector
ATEX convectors are very easy to install. Thanks to their horizontal design, the convector can be used directly on the floor or mounted on brackets to be fixed against a wall or partition.
Construction – ATEX Convector
ATEX convectors are made up of: an aluminium alloy connection box, a perforated sheet metal housing, feet and supports (x2), an ATEX cable gland, and a power supply voltage of 230 V single-phase or 400 V three-phase – 50 Hz.
Many options can be added to ATEX convectors, including:
- a protection mode (1.5 kW max);
- a wall-mounting bracket.
